Legal Future e.V. currently consists mainly of student members from undergraduate to doctoral level, that are working on legal issues of the future. The association is of course open to all interested people, And everybody that enjoys research and the idea are welcome to join, regardless of their own (academic) major or background. Explicitly addressed are, for example, PhD holders, professors or other professionals that are seeking a platform for discussion on future normative ideas, questions and issues. The Association is furthermore committed to foster the exchange between students, academia and professionals.
Legal Future is a registered association (e.V.) in Germany and as such operates on a non-profit basis. Our statutes are meeting the requirements for not-for-profit associations in Germany.
The Legal Future Association is an open-minded association that welcomes people from all over the world at all stages of their life and education. Even without being a member, you can participate, for example by writing an article as a guest author. You can also support the association's administration and operations, e.g. in areas of social media, content creation, project management as well as journalistic and publishing work.
Our Constitution sets both German and English as our working languages. However, some documents (like the Constitution) have to be written in German. However, don’t be discouraged if you do not speak German. We are happy to communicate with you in English. The blog project is mainly conducted in English.
Even non-members can get involved in the association. We explicitly want to point out that it is possible to submit and contribute to the blog as a blog author.
At the very moment we are working intensively on the guidelines for authors and will publish them on our blog website soon. However, we are honored by your interest; if you are already actively working on a contribution or have ideas, please feel free to contact us at blog@legalfuture.org.
Just contact hello@legalfuture.org. If you want to contact the Board, just send an email to board@legalfuture.org or call them at +49 15678 739637 (German mobile phone number).
